Gallery Advertising

Client: Bethany Studio Arts

While working as the primary designer for campus fine art events, I was given free reign from the exhibition coordinator to reimagine what branding could look like for these events.

On my mind were the following questions:

"What was a consistent and clean way to highlight the visiting artists, while keeping their creations the focal-point?"

"What does that look like when there are two artists? six?"

"What if they don't have photos of their work to share?"

We ended up with postcards, 10 ft gallery signage, and stickers being created for each show.

The gallery signage involved me learning how to use the large format printer on campus, navigating large rolls of adhesive paper, and aiding the department head in transferring the designs to wooden panels.  It was awesome.
