East River Recreational Trail Master Plan
Client: Green Bay, Bellevue, Allouez, De Pere, Ledgeview, and Brown County Wisconsin (ISG)
Winding through several Wisconsin communities, the East River connects people, places, and nature along its route to Lake Michigan. With a shared goal of improving recreation, access, and environmental health in and around the water, ISG collaborated with a strong pool of stakeholders and partners to develop a master plan.
This project was unique for me because I joined the effort after the (gorgeous) project branding was already developed and applied to a few sets of engagement materials. My challenge was then to take that existing branding and further develop it into a document that represented a big pool of clients, showcased the illustrated concepts created by the landscape architect, and clearly amplified the team's vision for the corridor.
This collaborative effort was especially rewarding and earned the 2025 APA-WI Best Practice Award.
