Countdown Social Graphics

Even before I took over the running of Bethany's social media accounts, I found myself with the great fun of creating what was dubbed the "Bethany Blessing Countdown"– where we highlighted significant campus events that happened throughout the year in the days between Christmas and New Years.

Each year I tried to keep the countdown looking unique from the year before, and 2020 was no different. This year was a favorite of mine because I was able to utilize my compositing ability to create some Bethany-specific gingerbread cookies. 

Starting with an illustration in Procreate, I brought the designs into Photoshop where I plopped into the ribbon scene and went to work adding shading, crumbs, and powdered sugar.
